Why It Matters

Belief shapes worship, discipleship, and mission.

Doctrine is not here to win arguments. It helps us know God faithfully, follow Jesus seriously, welcome the Holy Spirit's work, and serve our neighbors with conviction and compassion.

Key Scriptures: Matthew 28:19 | Acts 10:47-48 | Romans 6:4 | 1 Corinthians 11:26

07

The Baptism in the Holy Spirit

We believe believers should expect and seek the baptism in the Holy Spirit for power, service, spiritual gifts, and deeper devotion to Christ and His mission.

Key Scriptures: Luke 24:49 | Acts 1:4 | Acts 1:8 | 1 Corinthians 12:1-31

08

The Initial Physical Evidence of the Baptism in the Holy Spirit

We believe the initial physical sign of the baptism in the Holy Spirit is speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives utterance.

Key Scriptures: Acts 2:4 | 1 Corinthians 12:4-10 | 1 Corinthians 12:28

09

Sanctification

We believe sanctification means separation from evil and dedication to God, worked out daily through union with Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit.
